What you'll be doing...Verizon seeks an energetic, creative, business-oriented attorney to partner with and provide legal support to Verizon's Great Plains, Mountain, and KS/MO submarkets in the GN&T organization, including: strategic planning, negotiation, implementation and management of our network infrastructure agreements; managing legal disputes and litigation relating to our network assets and agreements; working with our real estate teams to obtain approvals from local jurisdictions for new network sites; and other strategic network initiatives. The position requires a business partner willing to collaborate with and support this dynamic team from brainstorming through execution and ongoing support to ensure the success of these critical projects. The ideal candidate will be a team player with significant legal experience in reviewing and negotiating complex contracts, with the ability to provide sound legal advice to internal client groups as requested, to collaborate with other internal business partners supporting this client, to prioritize and complete high-level urgent matters efficiently and decisively, and to supervise outside counsel where appropriate. The candidate must be a strategic thinker, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have significant transactional experience, demonstrate good judgment, and have a proven track record of advising clients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $151,000.00 and $280,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. |
