Position Highlights:

  • Position: IT Applications Analyst III
  • Location: Skokie, Arlington Heights or Warrenville
  • Full Time - days
  • Hybrid Onsite/Virtual
  • Oncall rotation

What you will do:

Customer Service

  • Acts as a liaison between customers, IT teams and vendors. Collaborates with functional and technical stakeholders at various levels.
  • Leads and participates in meetings with stakeholders.
  • Listens to customers and serves as an expert technical resource for Endeavor Health to address and resolve business problems.
  • Works with functional teams to inform and educate them on new process and/or enhancements, and seeks input regarding future enhancements.
  • Seeks opportunities for continuing education, by attending seminars, conferences, webinars, and networking with peers.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives and measurement.

Support and Maintenance

  • Leads or participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle; identifies business needs, designs, builds, implements, documents and trains business solutions based on current and future technologies.
  • Ensures all IT application systems function optimally and ensures accurate, reliable, and timely compliance with business needs, strategies, internal/external policies and regulations.
  • Uses industry standard and innovative methodologies to effectively troubleshoot functional, performance, connectivity, integration, security or utilization issues.
  • Understands specific functions, configurations, reporting, integrations and security for assigned portfolio of applications.
  • Documents incidents, requests, projects, knowledge and change control IT and organizational procedures in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Writes and controls essential project documents such as requirements, project charters, functional specifications, designs, test plans.
  • Advises management of potential problems, status of current systems, and suggestions of requirements for improvements on an ongoing basis.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and standards to meet all regulatory requirements, as well as currently accepted legal standards.
  • Provides on-call support as required.

Project Management and Other Responsibilities

  • Leads or participates in project plan development and execution.
  • Provides team and management updates on project status and moves to make suggestions in timely manner to ensure projects are on time.
  • Leads or participates in review, assessment, design, development, testing, and training of new releases or new application implementations.

What you will need:

Education, Experience and/or Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with three years previous experience in IT or relevant business area; or minimum of seven years of relevant IT experience
  • Experience implementing or supporting enterprise applications
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people

Unique or preferred skills:

  • Advanced knowledge in and experience supporting corporate applications such as symplr Workforce or other time/attendance/scheduling solutions.
  • Experience or certification in project management, Agile, Scrum, and ITIL
  • Healthcare technology experience is helpful but not required
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS, databases, scripting, SFTP
  • Advanced MS Excel and/or SQL is helpful but not required
