Location: Covington Support; 109 Northpark Blvd., Covington, Louisiana - 70433 Note: Program Manager under POOLCORP IT PMO will oversee specific areas and teams of Project Managers and technologies. Enterprise, Software, Operational, Field, and Infrastructure will all fall under the general stewardship of the PMO Dept. Program managers are responsible for overseeing the achievement of larger organizational goals. They lead the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation. In a normal PMO they coordinate efforts between different projects without managing any one of them, but at POOLCORP the expectation is for to also serve as an active Project Manager. Program managers are highly skilled professionals who help organizations stay on schedule, on spec, and ultimately on an upward trajectory of success and growth. Summary Although knowledge of the business is important, there is more stress on his or her program management skills. The program manager must have practical experience of having been a project manager for large and complex initiatives. They will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. Has a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Requirements The program manager must have strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. He or she must have the following:
