The UCR College Corps (Program) is part of the #CaliforniansForAll Governor's initiative which provides opportunities to approximately 150 UCR undergraduate students to support and learn from organizations working in three priority areas: K-12 Education, Climate Action and Food Insecurity. In coordination with the Executive Director of Educational and Community Outreach Programs, the College Corps Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering the UCR College Corps Program. Responsibilities include the implementation of the program including the day-to-day operations, budgeting, and reporting; hiring, training, and supervising of staff; and managing the hiring, training, placement and daily management of approximately 150 program fellows each year. Under the guidance of the Executive Director, the UCR College Corps Director builds relationships and works with partner sites in the community that may include non-profit and government agencies, community groups and local businesses to implement various aspects and activities of the College Corps Program. The Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant polices and regulations and submitting required reports and documentation. This position is grant funded. It is expected that the grant will run through July 2026 with a possibility of extension based on continued availability of funding.

The full salary range for the UCR College Corps Director position is $61,000 - $106,800 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $85,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
