The Opportunity: The Associate Director of International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) plays a key role in supporting over 1,300 international students, scholars, faculty, and staff on the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach Campus. The position involves overseeing immigration processes, advising services, and outreach for non-immigrant students, while ensuring compliance with F-1 and J-1 visa regulations. Responsibilities include serving as a DSO for F-1 students, mainly responsible for employment authorization processes like Curricular and Optional Practical Training while serving as a back-up to all processes, advising on immigration-related matters, and assisting the Director as an ARO in managing the university's J-1 visa program. The role also includes developing process and policies that align with the strategic goals of the university while collaborating with faculty and campus partners to support international students in achieving their academic and professional objectives.
