Plant Cost Accountant - NC

We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to serve at our privately held global manufacturing client on a project basis. This role is on-site in Mebane, NC.

This Plant Controller position is a key team member at this Center of Excellence facility. This role will work closely with the Shared Services team and other local North Carolina plants.

• Assists with day-to-day Finance functions at the plant
• Oversee SAP month-end closing process and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site
• Prepare forecasts of income statement, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows for the Plant
• Review all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory/Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Share results with Regional Finance Leadership team
• Work across the organization and with multiple levels of the company to achieve Controllership objectives
• Perform cost analysis and deployment, including lean manufacturing processes

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred
• Controllership experience at an operation at least $100M in annual revenue
• ERP implementation experience required
• Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation experience strongly preferred
• 7+ years of relevant manufacturing/commercial products industry experience
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
