The Director of Radiation Oncology and Medical Dosimetrist is a hybrid leadership role focused on advancing operational excellence, quality assurance, and clinical dosimetry across the WVU Radiation Oncology enterprise. With a split focus (40% Operations, 60% Dosimetry), the role is essential in driving both the strategic and clinical components of the department. The incumbents responsibilities will extend across the eight WVU Radiation Oncology locations. The incumbent will help lead initiatives aligned with the department's mission of delivering compassionate, patient-centered cancer care throughout Appalachia
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field required. 2. Board Certified Dosimetry EXPERIENCE: 1. Five (5) years of experience in dosimetry and/or radiation therapy 2. Three (3) years of management level experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Master's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field. EXPERIENCE: 1. Eight years of experience in the health care field 2. Experience in an academic environment 3. Experience with APEx certification (or equivalent) and quality management systems in a clinical oncology setting. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.
