About you: The Workplace Operations Lead is responsible for facilitating an exceptional office experience, providing operational support with a strong focus on customer service, while working incollaboration with the Workplace Team to provide and maintain a positive office environment.You are an individual who thrives in a fast paced, ever evolving environment, who possessesstrong communication skills and the ability to successfully prioritize and execute tasks inalignment with the overall goals of the team. Responsibilities: * Serves as the first point of contact for employees, managing requests, facilitating a positive office experience. * Contributes to and facilitates in the management of an ongoing delightful employeeexperience by providing operational support and maintaining the general organizationand esthetic of the physical office spaces. * Serve as Floor Warden for a designated floor (primary POC for end user requests,perform building walks to ensure compliance, assist with incoming and outgoingemployees by preparing desks with cross-functional communication between severaldepartments). * Assists in maintaining and further enhancing the designated Workplace programs (ex:garage operations, etc). * Support Sr. Operations Manager with management of vendors, facilities, and theWorkplace Operations team. * Perform Moves Adds & Changes as needed to support company growth. * Other site specific duties and support may be required. Experience and Skills: * A passion for providing exceptional customer service through human connection and andongoing operations support * 2+ years of property and/or facilities operations experience * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationshipsacross departments, work collaboratively. * Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks,projects, and ever-changing priorities * Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, FLS, plumbing, etc.) is encouraged butnot required About our team: Behind the scenes, we're a team of computer scientists, hardware engineers and experienced founders who saw a chance to make a real impact. Pay Disclosure At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada's total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
