JOB SUMMARY: The Technical Program Manager - M365 is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing support for the enterprise cloud productivity platforms, which includes voice systems, Microsoft 365 productivity suite, and other cloud-based software technologies. This role will focus on proactive management, configuration, and troubleshooting hands-on and in partnership with vendors of Microsoft 365 services across all relevant modules to ensure seamless user experiences and optimal performance:
- M365 Suite
- Microsoft Exchange Online (hybrid, both on-prem and cloud)
- Microsoft SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Microsoft Azure Active Directory
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning and execution of cloud-based solutions, features and functionality to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on M365 updates, new features, and enhancements. Recommend and implement improvements to optimize the use of M365 services.
- Project Management: Prepare project plans, schedules, resource, and financial and license usage estimates. Manage large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on configuration, management, and troubleshooting of M365 services. Oversee implementations, including setting schedules and managing change.
- Innovation and Roadmapping: Develop roadmaps and identify emerging technologies and current M365 suite features to meet business requirements. Research and implement new technologies and practices.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain documentation, technical schematics, and equipment configurations for proper record-keeping and recovery purposes. Ensure compliance with best practices and organizational policies.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and the technology evaluation process to ensure the best solutions are selected and implemented.
- Incident Resolution :Resolve and escalate where needed both Level 2 and Level 3 incidents and requests, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Prepare end-user and organization-wide communications related to technology.
- Disaster Recovery: Design recovery and resiliency solutions, participating in Disaster Recovery exercises to ensure business continuity.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement continuous improvement, process improvement, and automation to drive efficiencies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 services.
- Advanced knowledge and/or administration experience for Microsoft 365 product suite, Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Power Platform including Power BI.
- Demonstrated expertise managing programs, projects, and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical users.
- Product management skillset and experience preferred.
- Expertise in end-user product management and customer experience including incident management and complex communication from executive level to engineer.
- Experience in vendor management, technology due diligence and evaluation.
- Proven ability to work in a complex, fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and supporting infrastructure technologies.
- Ability to work on-call or non-standard business hours as needed.
- Working knowledge or Industry certifications preferred (PMP, ITIL, Microsoft)
