Position: Training and Partnerships Intern - Economic Empowerment
Location: [Hybrid -NYC]
Hours: [Part-time/15-20 hrs. per week]
Duration: [January - June 2025]

About IRC Economic Empowerment:
The Economic Empowerment team at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) provides refugees, immigrants, and other underserved populations with resources and support to achieve self-sufficiency and economic stability. Through training programs, employment support, and strategic partnerships, our team helps individuals gain critical skills, secure employment, and navigate career growth opportunities.

Position Overview:
The Training and Partnerships Intern will work closely with Training and Partnerships Specialist, Lucia Marin, to assist in the development and delivery of training sessions. This internship opportunity requires the intern to support partnership outreach efforts. This position is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in workforce development, training coordination, and partnership engagement within a non-profit setting



Minimum Qualifications:Main Responsibilities:
Partnership researching and outreach:Looking for new training opportunities within small businesses, schools, organizations, and others
Training: Assist in designing and organizing info sessions
Language Requirement: Spanish (Not required, but preferred)
