DEPCOM Power, a prominent renewable energy Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm is actively looking to add a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will experience managing large EPC projects. If you are in search of a challenging and gratifying opportunity within a dynamic and expanding company, this position could be an ideal fit for you. This is a remote role that requires travel to project sites at a frequency between 25% - 50% dependent on project need. This role does not provide Visa sponsorship. Our Team DEPCOM's Project Delivery Organization executes full turnkey PV and BESS plants with collection substations and generation transmission lines. We utilize preferred partnerships with key vendors and subcontractors while coordinating with interconnection utilities across the nation. What You Will Do * Assist Project Managers with tasks to help the development and construction of utility scale solar projects * Help manage all aspects of project execution including schedule management, financial forecasting, prime contract compliance, progress reporting, customer and community relations, etc. * Maintain project documentation related to contract administration, schedule and budgets * Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders * Proactively manage project scope, identify critical variables and devise contingency plans * Assist in providing timely project reporting to internal teams and external customers * Assist the PM to ensure project is in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements with support of internal resources * Build rapport with customers and find strategic opportunities to drive long-term mutually beneficial relationships Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Field construction experience * Understanding of prime contract and subcontract language * Experience with cost estimating, scheduling, and customer interfacing * Valid Driver's license What Will Put You Ahead * EPC experience in Solar, Wind, BESS, conventional power or industrial project For this role, we anticipate paying $115k - $145k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
