Job Summary The Performing Arts Center Specialist assists in coordinating events, performances, and daily operations of the college's Performing Arts Center, Black Box theater, Box Office, Scene Shop, outdoor PAC Courtyard, and other venues. This role involves collaborating with faculty, students, and external performers to plan and execute performances, ensuring technical requirements are met, and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will bring organizational expertise and passion for the performing arts, ensuring smooth operations and an engaging experience for both performers and audiences. Essential Functions 30% - Provide logistical support for productions, including setting up equipment or sets in collaboration with faculty and event organizers. 20% - Assists with the technical needs for lighting, sound, and equipment for the Performing Arts Center and related venues. 20% - Assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the PAC, Black Box theater, Box Office, Scene Shop, and outdoor PAC Courtyard. 10% - Prepares procedural documentation such as user manuals, draft policies and procedures. 10% - Artist and Performer support during events 5% - Problem Solving and Issue Resolution 5% - Other Duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED and three years of program support experience. There is no substitution or equivalency allowable for the High School Diploma or GED. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
