Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to input faculty CVs into a newly established database. This position will enter information from multiple sources that details faculty members' experiences, publications, research interests, awards and contact information. Diligence to ensure accuracy and consistency of all entries is critical. This position requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to identify and communicate potential issues or improvements in the data entry process.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter faculty CV information into the database.
Identify and report inconsistencies, missing information, or potential improvements in the data entry process.
Collaborate with the team to understand new fields and changes required based on the data being entered.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all data.
Assist in the development and refinement of data entry procedures.


Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of data entry, verification, and related clerical duties. Enters and updates data into a computer system or software or national database

  • 20% Prepares and sorts documents for data entry
  • 70% Enters information into systems or national database
  • 5% Maintains awareness of and ensures adherence to university standards regarding privacy
  • 5% Assisting with other CoE ongoing projects

Knowledge of faculty CVs
Higher Ed experience

Schedule is flexible


Work Type:

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. The initial training will take place on site.


Appointment Type, Duration:

Terminal appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended based on need and/or funding.


Salary:

Minimum $17.00 HOURLY
Depending on Qualifications


Additional Information:

This is a temporary position and will end by May 14, 2025
