What you'll do Docusign is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join the Connect team. Connect is Docusign's webhook infrastructure team. This team supports a Tier 0 service (Docusign Connect) that is responsible for enabling internal and external customers to get notifications on events for any Docusign product. Many customers rely on this to power their downstream systems like vaulting and storage of agreements, reporting, or triggering workflows specific to their organization's needs. Connect processes tens of billions of events with a p99 end-to-end latency of less than 1s. As a Lead Software Engineer on the Connect team, you are responsible for designing, building and maintaining key features that are integral to our customers and business. You are a hands-on technical expert who will guide and contribute to our development and operations teams to improve the creation of infrastructure solutions that scale with our rapid growth. As a successful lead engineer, you have a flexible attitude combined with an aptitude to learn and share. You are responsible not only for writing quality, scalable code but also for guiding the team to make the right decisions. You enjoy working in a fast-paced agile environment, care about the team's decisions, and are focused on quality-driven development. We are seeking an engineer who is experienced in building distributed cloud applications. You will have the opportunity to work on a complex ecosystem in the cloud with a focus on scale and availability. You will be responsible for developing software solutions using object oriented methodologies, design patterns, and building scalable, highly available systems. You will also have experience with public cloud and be curious and able to learn new technologies and toolsets. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering. Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
