Adjunct Faculty, Spring 2025 - Biology

The Biology Department at Keene State College invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach Cells and Molecules for the Spring 2025 semester. Instruction will be in person, Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00-3:45 PM. This is a part-time, non-benefited position.

Course Description:
Cells and Molecules (INBIO-110)
Introduction to the life processes from the molecular to the physiological level using an integrated lecture and lab experience. Topics include the chemistry of macromolecules, cell structure and function, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, and gene expression. Use of experimental inquiry to integrate course content into a physiological context.

The successful applicant will have support from previous course instructors in developing and running the course and assistance from departmental staff in running all lab activities.

Master's degree in biology or related field, or Bachelor's degree with extensive teaching experience.

Prior college and lab teaching experience.Additionally, the College has identified desirable qualifications that support our commitment to creating and maintaining a diverse campus community including the ability to speak a second language or to bring a multicultural perspective to the campus
