Keysight Technologies' Global Services Organization is seeking a Business Development Manager who can effectively create, lead and drive high-impact Services-oriented (e.g.g repair, calibration, etc.) demand generation activities across the Americas, particularly in teh Aerospace and Defense segment. The ideal candidate will champion several high growth Services programs spanning pre- and post-sales while engaging many of Keysight's most strategic customers & partners.

As a member of Keysight's Global Services Americas Business Development Team, you'll work with a wide range of product stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders, to drive critical demand generation programs. You will also provide operational and strategic guidance to achieve specific growth objectives in support of Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Customer Order Fulfillment.


Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will:

  • Own P&L, growth and gross margin performance for specific Services programs
  • Develop & implement new Services oriented demand generation programs
  • Lead the development of high impact and/or long-range strategic projects and initiatives
  • Initiate innovative Services program/project design and development concepts
  • Work cross-functionally to define & analyze Services programs effectiveness (ROI, Gross Margins)
  • Work collaboratively with Sales & Business Center operations to pursue, support and win deals

Responsibilities also include:

  • Developing market/product line business plans and strategic marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments
  • Analyzing market data to identify trends/opportunities, developing strategic direction from market information, and creating compelling market analysis presentation
  • Enabling sales by identifying & pursuing business opportunities, and providing information & supporting Sales
  • Interfacing with customers through company channels & programs
  • Providing pricing information and resolving critical business issues
  • Forecasting & reporting for designated services product lines

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, M.B.A. Desired
  • 10 to 12+ years' experience in Product or Services Marketing, Business Development, and/or Sales
  • Experience in multiple aspects of demand generation activities including events, sales tools, dimensional campaigns, direct mail, e-marketing, search engine marketing, web marketing, marketing communications
  • Strong financial & business acumen with a solid grasp of P&L components, cost drivers, and profitability & margin levers
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple organizations and geographies
  • Ability to create & articulate Keysight Service's value proposition through high-impact advertising and literature
  • Ability to manage a diverse set of complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create & manage Marketing/Program budgets, complex pricing models, and business performance metrics
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills with ability to build strong working relationships with Sales, Regional/Central Marketing Teams, Business Units other internal stakeholder organizations
  • Customer & quality focused
  • Strong Project Management skills are a must

This position can be performed remotely, or at one of our major sites.

Pay Range:

USD $159,950.00 - USD $266,580.00 Year
