What you'll be doing...

The Value Indirect Field organization, as part of Verizon Value, manages Indirect channel performance and operations for Total Wireless and Authorized Retail locations.

As the leader, you will establish the new Indirect Value field operations organization supporting the newly formed Value Indirect field organization. In this position, you will hire a team and establish new end-to-end processes and ways of working to support the Total Wireless exclusive distribution & Authorized Retailer channels.

You will be focused on driving channel performance & action by developing a single source of truth for store performance insights & managing ongoing reporting to drive productivity in the Value Indirect sales channels. Your insights will directly influence key business strategies aimed at enhancing profitability, optimizing third-party labor allocation, and improving overall performance of all programs.

This leader will directly influence the development of the Indirect Value Field Organization's operational objectives and principles to achieve our long-term strategic goals for the channel. This leader will make decisions for day-to-day business needs as well as long-term strategic decisions in partnership with channel leadership.

In this role you will:

  • Drive Indirect sales channel performance & action by developing a single source of truth for store performance insights.

  • Build & lead a team owning operations, support, and processes for the Value Indirect field organization.

  • Create and manage daily, weekly, monthly, & ad hoc reporting delivered to the Value Indirect field team to provide overall support, drive productivity, and gain business insights.

  • Develop performance analytics dashboards using Tableau and SQL to drive channel performance and action.

  • Perform regular, ongoing analysis of sales, products and services, KPIs as well as complex, strategic and analytical projects to evaluate and make recommendations around growth, revenue, and profitability initiatives and opportunities at the region/territory level.

  • Oversee and coordinate end-to-end ownership of complex organizational-level initiatives with the focus of driving expansion and profitability of Total Wireless stores with limited oversight and direction.

  • Lead engagements with key business stakeholders in business strategies and opportunities with a focus on driving measurable value via innovative technical solutions to business problems

  • Accountable to scope, define, and introduce Field support processes and procedures while identifying potential risks & providing transformational opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with the Value Indirect field organization leadership, developing & executing on a field team organizational strategy that aligns to the broader Exclusive Distribution channel strategy.

  • Be responsible for all decision-making within the field operations organization, using functional subject matter expertise and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Own organizational level initiatives, working with various levels of Verizon Value leadership, including creation of senior executive-level presentations by leveraging data insights & business acumen.

  • Develop and implement leadership governance related to key strategic initiatives and functioning of the organization & its team members.

  • Consistently deliver high-quality work that fully addresses the intended criteria, goals, and objectives.

  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership.

  • Travel to key strategic markets to support Field Sales Directors and Teams.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demostrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience with data analysis and/or business intelligence tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL. etc)

  • Experience leading a team.

  • Willingness to travel approximately up to 50% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • An MBA, or an M.S. in a related field.

  • Expert level experience using Excel, Tableau, and Google automation.

  • Advanced SQL and/or other database programming language experience.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.

  • Experience working with external partners and/or vendors.

  • Advanced executive presentation skills including creating content and associated backup materials.

  • Experience working in and/or with Verizon field sales and operations organizations.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A team player orientation collaborating well with others.

  • A passion for delivering exceptional experiences to partners and consumers.

Where you'll be working

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $107,000.00 and $198,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
