Job Summary

Processes gifts into the Raiser's Edge (RE) system ensuring required documentation is complete. Reconciles entries to Foundation journals. Assigns required gift codes in entry. Manages gift analysis/entry procedures accurately and timely. Serves as Gift Services and Data Processing (GSDP) liaison to units as assigned. Performs daily tasks, including but not limited to: data entry, generating receipts and pledge reminders, completing data requests/reports. Maintains confidentiality of donor/alumni records. Provides assistance on special projects.

  • Reviews, processes and records gifts into the Raiser's Edge system ensuring that required documentation package is complete and accurate, and assigns purpose and solicitation codes and other required information.
  • Responds to requests for information regarding gifts, generating queries of the constituent system gift information, and prepares gift reports from the system as required.
  • Suggests changes in procedures for improved efficiency. Implements changes to office procedures as directed by the Director of Gift Services and Data Processing or AVP of Advancement Operations and Administration. Researches, produces and maintains policy and procedure documentation for gift and record entry.
  • Evaluates source documentation and conducts or facilitates research on gifts and records before point of data entry, when necessary.
  • Enters new donor records into the database; updates and makes corrections to constituent records as needed and/or requested.
  • Provides assistance for special projects and general office support.
  • Assists with processing gift receipts on a daily basis.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma and three (3) years of experience with database or data entry experience, and records management; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications

Minimum two years of experience in CRM or Information technology.

Ability to learn complex data entry codes and procedures quickly.

Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis.
