The School of Social Work within the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work at Florida International University has been accredited by the Council of Social Work Education since 1974 and offers the BSW, MSW and Ph.D.

The School of Social Work within the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work at Florida International University is seeking an individual to fill the full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-earning Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Coordinator of Field Education position. The appointment will be as a clinical faculty member. Responsibilities will include the administration and management of the BSSW field education program, assistance in the administration and management of the MSW field education program, teaching field-related coursework, and serving on School, College, and University committees.

Applicants must have at a minimum: an MSW from an accredited School of Social Work or closely related field, at least two years post-MSW professional practice, experience teaching in higher education, and field education experience. A Florida LCSW is preferred. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of the South Florida social service community, and exhibit a strong potential for collaborating with community partners on behalf of the School, College, and University.
