JOB DESCRIPTION

A non-tenure track, adjunct faculty position in the Economics Program at the Instructor or
Assistant Professor level (Assistant Professor if the candidate has a Ph.D./JD in hand; Instructor otherwise). The Economics & Health Care Management department is seeking a pool of candidates to fill one position. Being a member of the qualified applicant pool does not ensure a teaching contract will be offered; course offerings, and therefore teaching appointments, will vary with demand and available funding. The department's current teaching needs are in the areas of Applied Statistics for Business and Economics. The successful candidate must hold regularly scheduled office hours during the semester. Spring semester appointment begins January 02, 2025 for classes that begin January 15, 2025.

The candidate hired to teach this course will have responsibilities for managing all aspects of teaching the course, including course development, course delivery, grading, and communicating with students. The department will provide guidance on course content, required textbook and syllabus development. The candidate is also expected to hold office hours (in-person or virtual) to ensure access to students outside of class hours.
