DNA isolation from cells, PCR amplification, and gel purification of libraries. Preparing and processing of DNA libraries for sequencing using high throughput sequencing platforms (e.g., Illumina and PacBio). Operating liquid- and plate-handing robotics. Maintaining laboratory stocks of media supplies, reagents, buffers, plates, etc. Performing routine maintenance of laboratory instruments. Assisting in analyzing and summarizing data for scientific communications (e.g., grant applications, peer-reviewed publications).
