Post Doctoral Associate Med-Surgery - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - ( 24008591 ) The University of Pittsburgh Department of Surgery has an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Associate. The Department of Surgery's dedication to excellence in research drives our commitment to seek out and train the best of the next generation of biomedical scientists. We are interested in recruiting an MD candidate with experience in general/trauma surgery research or other relevant disciplines. The Postdoctoral Associate will assist in the design of experiments, animal surgery and blood testing, biochemical and coagulation analysis, data reporting, and preparation of abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts and make efforts to quantify the effects of extracellular vesicles during trauma and hemorrhage in preclinical models as well as participate in any other assignments the principal investigator, may request.
