This position is responsible for the global trade and transportation compliance teams. This role ensures compliance to global trade and transportation compliance regulations. They work collaboratively to design a compliance strategy that the efficient flow of materials around the world. The incumbent is expected to build and maintain strong relationships with different external and internal, direct and indirect stakeholders. They are also expected to be active in regional and global industry organization so that we proactively manage the compliance risks and standards. Roles & Responsibilities
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, including export/import controls, customs regulations, and hazardous materials transportation laws. Person Specification
Education: * At minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or Finance required. * 10 years of experience in positions with increasing responsibility in supply chain, purchasing, materials management, or similar customer facing role, of which at least 5 years in supervisory role * Fluency in English required. * Working knowledge of one or more other European languages preferred Critical Competencies/ Behaviors
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical expertise, analytical skills to effectively manage the complexities of operating in the chemical industry and optimizing supply chain performance.
