HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The School of Public Health - Health Policy & Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Sponsored Funded Professional - Project Coordinator to work on a U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded research project focused on promoting smoking cessation among Hispanic/Latinx communities in the United States. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the development and maintenance of project protocols, study procedures, intervention materials, and study and outreach materials; coordinating with community partners; conducting data collection with participants; and assisting with data management and
preparation of reports, presentations, and papers.

Study Management
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project protocols, study procedures, intervention
materials, and study and outreach materials.
- Coordinate with community partners on recruitment and intervention adaptation activities.
- Assist with programming and maintaining smoking cessation intervention through mobile health technology platform.
- Manage team schedule, including participant enrollment and assessment sessions.
- Provide technical support and assistance to the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network.

Data Collection
- Conduct recruitment and data collection for qualitative studies (focus groups and interviews) and pilot clinical trials to inform and refine a culturally adapted smoking cessation intervention for Hispanic/Latinx adults.
- Conduct informed consent, baseline assessments, and follow-up assessments.
- Conduct qualitative interviews, survey assessments, and biochemical assessments (e.g., expired carbon
monoxide).

Data Management
- Assist with data management (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics, Excel, SPSS, NVivo).
- Perform basic statistical analysis.
- Assist with qualitative analysis of interviews and focus groups.
- Summarize data for reports, presentations, and papers.
- Assist with and/or lead the preparation of conference submissions and scientific manuscripts.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a High School Diploma or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.


Preferred Hiring Qualifications:



  • Spanish proficiency
