The International Student Advisor will support the office's mission of providing services to international students, scholars, faculty, and staff at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. These services are designed to help individuals lawfully pursue their academic and professional goals at the university. The advisor will assist in managing immigration processing, advising, and outreach services provided by the International Student & Scholar Services team to over 1,300 nonimmigrant international students on the Daytona Beach campus. The International Student Advisor will also serve as the primary Designated School Official (DSO) for F-1 students on the Daytona Beach campus and will provide backup support to the Director and Associate Director in F-1 student advising and counseling. Additionally, the advisor will support the Director and Associate Director as a backup Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for the J-1 visa program. The role will include providing backup during Orientation, Check-in, and registration activities as needed. This is a hybrid position. The International Student Advisor will:
