JOB SUMMARY |
IT Contract leader oversees projects performed in partnership between one organization and another. They are responsible for coordinating every aspect of the project from reviewing and approving contract terms to coordinating deadlines, approving budgets and more. Ensures that every IT contract signed by the company contributes to its goals and objectives. They supervise and manage the IT contract team in an organization and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors. IT Contract Managers also draft a variety of contracts and agreements for their company. They monitor the execution, ensuring that it complies with the organization's procedures and the industry standards. Other duties include assigning and delegating tasks. IT Contract Managers advises sourcing and legal teams during purchasing & negotiations of IT software, hardware and services. They also act as the point of contact between the company, its employees, vendors and contractors. |
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Draft and revise a variety of contracts with internal & external IT suppliers
- Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
- Meet with users & business leaders to discuss both legal and business matters
- Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to IT contract generation
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Create, prepare, review and edit all IT contracts
- Provide support and advice on new potential businesses opportunities
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES |
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
- Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
- Exemplify a strong attention to detail
- Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
- Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office
- Previous experience working with contract regulations and related laws is strongly preferred
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Capable of professionally managing confidential information
- Exemplify creative problem solving abilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
Required Education / Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, IT, Engineering or similar role
- 3+ Years' experience directly support IT contracts, purchase, and supplier management
