The research is focused on the discovery and advancement of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for brain and related tumors, and the prevention of ADC-induced adverse events, including corneal toxicity. Approaches include quantitative immunofluorescence, cell culture including cell line development, in vitro functional assays, pharmacokinetics, and in vivo testing in rodent models. Researchers will present data at scientific meetings, prepare manuscripts, and apply for research funding. Technical methods will include cell culture, fluorescence plate reader assays, molecular biology (PCR, ELISA, Western blot, transfections), immunocytochemistry, and working with rodents.
