Description & Requirements
This position in our growing physician enterprise practice offers an excellent opportunity for candidates who are interested in a consulting career focused on advising physician enterprise decision-makers with compensation design and compliance with a focus on complex transactions and arrangements, and other problem-solving and needs fulfillment matters. How you will contribute:
- Managing data acquisition, validation, benchmarking, and analytical work for a wide variety of purposes, such as transaction assessments, compensation compliance (including fair market value studies) and compensation design
- Use industry knowledge, benchmarking, and facts and circumstances discovery, and complete and document data normalizations
- Leading strategic, and financial analyses as related to employed physicians and independent group practices
- Project management, including development of project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models, and creating and delivering presentations
- Driving solution implementations

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or other related degree
- 5 years or more of experience in the healthcare industry
- Experience in consulting, fair market value or transactional advisory
- Business acumen related to strategic provider alignment, compliance risk, and financial decision-making for physician enterprise
- Strong working knowledge of two or more of the following:
- Fair Market Value for provider services arrangements
- Breadth of hospital-physician services arrangements
- Provider employment arrangements and the various pay types and pay methodologies
- Hospital-physician equity or synthetic joint ventures
- Proven skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge/Experience in the areas of academic medicine, cancer care, business valuation, due diligence, physician needs, physician recruiting, RHC/FQHCs, trauma programs, billing and coding, bundled payment and other value-based reimbursement programs, revenue cycle, EMR utilization, and similar.
- Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
