Key Account Executive

The Key Account Executive will manage relationships with key IDN/Health Systems and coordinate cross-functional teams to advance Bio-Rad Laboratories' clinical and life science product portfolios, aligning with the GCO US mission and goals. This individual will drive overall growth in healthcare system accounts, with a focus on developing laboratory partnerships and delivering tailored solutions.

How You Will Make an Impact:



  • Develop the strategic and tactical plans to protect and increase Bio-Rad product utilization at designated national/regional healthcare systems.
  • Work with Executives of healthcare systems to educate, drive awareness and contract Bio-Rad Laboratories portfolio of products and services.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the customer and Global Commercial Operations.
  • Participate in area/regional/team meetings for training purposes, product information updates and sharing field intelligence while managing travel/coordination of regular account visits focusing on key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with field sales teams to secure existing and identify/execute on new opportunities for growth at designated healthcare systems.


What you Bring:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: 8+ years biotech sales and marketing experience as well as regional or national accounts management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Negotiation skills with well-developed interpersonal, communication, organizational, planning, multitasking and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, with practical working knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Knowledge of and experience with developing pricing and promotional programs, developing and negotiating standardized programs.


Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:



  • Considerable knowledge of medical device products, controls, programs, and health systems.
  • Organization and support of cross-functional teams in coordinating multiple levels or partnership interaction.
  • CRM (e.g. Salesforce) client management experience.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $114,700 to $157,800 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
