Job Summary In support of the MC Associate Executive Director (AED) the Artistic Administrator helps to organize and implement the Mondavi Center's programming initiatives. Coordinate budgeting, contract negotiations and communication with inter-departmental staff to ensure professional productions from the program planning phase through performance day. Write University Performance and Lecture agreements and Deal Memoranda in accordance with University policies and procedures, manage master events calendar, and liaise with the California Franchise Tax Board (CFTB), University Accounts Payable, Business Contracts, and Risk Management staff regarding contract and/or tax withholding issues. Act as main point of contact for planning artist performances and delivery of contracted services. Collaborate with Mondavi Center's Artist Services unit and related staff responsible for artist hospitality, accommodations, and transportation, in accordance with terms of artist contracts, and ensuring adherence to University and Mondavi Center policies and budgetary guidelines. Work Environment Restricted vacation during peak periods. Work occasional overtime, varied lunch hours, evenings/nights, weekends and holidays as needed, usually on short-notice to meet operational needs.
