Schedule Weekly Hours:

40 This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) working 40 hours per week. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM (with on-call rotation)
Regular travel to our regional clinics is required of this position.
Job Description:

Perform overall maintenance, service and repair work on Clinic plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration facilities and equipment; assume independent responsibility for the overall maintenance of assigned Clinic facilities during off hours, weekends, and holidays when "taking call".

Major Responsibilities:
1. Conduct periodic inspections of designated buildings and equipment; when necessary, repair and perform preventive maintenance on general building facilities and electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and equipment.
2. Respond to Clinic emergency maintenance calls after normal hours and on weekends and holidays; perform necessary repair work, which may include temporary repairs sufficient to secure the systems and facilities until permanent repairs feasible; notify appropriate personnel if further action is required.
3. Respond immediately to fire alarm systems; disengage electrical, water, or gas systems to protect building occupants and property.
4. Perform or assist with major and minor repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment as needed.
5. Advise management of general condition of facilities and equipment and any unusual problems or concerns that may arise; make recommendations for facilities improvements or upgrades.
6. Maintain appropriate documentation of maintenance and repair records to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and codes.
7. Carries a Medical Examiner's Certificate at all times while driving a commercial motor vehicle.

8. Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.
9. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalency

DESIRED
High School Diploma or equivalency + additional training

Work Experience:
REQUIRED
3-4 years of building maintenance and repair experience.

DESIRED
1 year Healthcare building maintenance and repair experience.

License and Certifications:
REQUIRED
Valid Driver's License (DL)
