Position Description
Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Coordinates the Center for Translational Neuroscience and Therapeutics (CTNT) Annual Symposium
  • Coordinates the Center for Translational Neuroscience and Therapeutics (CTNT) Monthly Meetings
  • Maintains the Center for Translational Neuroscience and Therapeutics (CTNT) Website
  • Coordinates/Manages the GPHM 7101 Seminar Course, including the CTNT Seminar Series
  • Travel processes for ALL department team members, including invited seminar distinguised speakers, department retreat members and faculty recruitments.
  • Department Event Planning
  • Develops and maintains information for the department website
  • Annual Faculty Evaluation Processes
  • Manages and maintains Graduate Faculty Appointments
  • Annual Faculty Tenor and Promotion Processes
  • Manage and maintains the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) SACS binders for all department faculty
  • Maintains general office functions
  • Provides administrative support for the Chairperson and the Business manager
  • Graduate Student Support & Records


Required Qualifications
Completion of high school or the equivalent. Five years office experience. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
