Our Henderson, NV beverage manufacturing plant is hiring! We're looking for skilled mechanics to work 12hr night shifts. There are a lot of great reasons to work for Ocean Spray! Once your application is submitted you will receive information to complete a preemployment assessment. If you do not complete this assessment your application will be closed within 72hrs of submission. A day in the life of a mechanic:
  • Has excellent punctuality/attendance record
  • Maintains a positive attitude with team members and throughout the shift
  • Communicates with team members effectively
  • Follows all safety, quality and procedural standards
  • Uses computer/computer systems/email as needed
  • Documents information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Able to work in 24/7 manufacturing environment, including nights, weekends and possibly some holidays
  • Able to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposes
  • Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Able to troubleshoot complex equipment, reading and interpreting manuals and work orders, maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensure optimal performance; responds to equipment process concerns; prioritizes work orders, PM/CM as needed
  • Participates in preparatory meetings for maintenance day overhauls
  • Report on equipment safety and operational hazardous findings to leadership as appropriate
  • Generate follow-up work orders with the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Supports the development of Maintenance SOP's
  • Works as a team to support short- and long-term department and facility goals
  • Other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
  • Must have at least 3 years' manufacturing experience and/or experience with preventative/corrective equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to demonstrate acceptable levels of basic grammar, mathematical aptitude, and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment which includes, but not limited to; lifting, bending, climbing, standing, crouching, kneeling, walking, talking, hearing, etc.
  • Ability to routinely lift/move up to 50lbs and regularly required to taste or smell product
