What you'll be doing...
  • Ensuring all forecasts are up to date with the latest company objectives and retail promotions. Assisting in developing and maintaining sales forecasts by retailer for each specific item number to be used for budgeting and long-term planning. Assisting in completing sales estimation. Tracking promotions, price changes, new handset launches, etc. to report the impact on Sales.
  • Assisting demand planning manager by updating shipment forecast and sales expectations on a weekly basis, make recommendations to assist retailers in maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Maintaining metrics and detailed reporting to track sales, shipments, inventory available and activations.
  • Assisting in allocation and availability of refurbished inventory to retail, direct sales, SafeLink, and exchanges. Providing direction on kitting and sales forecast for retail refurbished phone demand.
  • Providing supporting information during forecast meetings with each account, recommending adjustments to shipment expectations based on sales trend and inventory needs.
  • Ensuring that the value brands have the correct amount of stock to meet customer demand.
  • Conducting daily inventory analysis to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  • Assisting to design and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Proposing strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
  • Providing projected inventory volumes based on sales forecasts and current inventory levels.
What we're looking for... You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in logistics, procurement, supply chain or similar job functions.
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong math skills, the ability to multitask, excellent organizational and communication skills, and attention to detail.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Working knowledge of WSAP and 1ERP
  • Understanding of inventory processes and delivery systems, and experience with MRP systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales and inventory planning, forecasting analysis,
    procurement and production tracking.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aligning inventory strategies and operations in a multi-channel business.
  • Able to make sound business decisions and develop effective business relationships.
  • Experience in setting Inventory and Weeks of Supply targets based on operational and
    forecasting risk.
  • Demonstrate Strategic thinking and Solution Design.
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding project/change deadlines and business
    targets in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with a variety of people across
    departments.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $51,000.00 and $94,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
