Manager, Student Employment The Manager of Student Employment will oversee all aspects of the student employment program, ensuring efficient hiring processes, regulatory compliance, and meaningful work experiences for students. This role involves collaborating with various campus departments and external partners to create job opportunities, provide guidance on student employment policies, and ensure that student employees are supported and treated fair in their student employment role as student workers. Key Competencies:
Job Summary Leads team and manages student employment processes and administrative operations. Enhances policies, procedures, and initiatives and develops metrics to track program effectiveness. Serves as a primary contact regarding student employment functions, conducts trainings, and maintains marketing, communications, and training materials. Essential Functions o Oversee the administration and coordination of on-campus and off-campus student employment programs. o Supervises staff, including hiring, distributing and reviewing work, performance reviews, and documenting disciplinary actions and other human resource administration. Manages work schedules and approves timecards. Provides professional development opportunities. Physical Effort Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
