Overview

The Agency of Transportation is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to work out of the Capital Region District 6 office in Berlin. This in-person position will work within an office setting and will be involved in daily district and office operations. Duties will include budgeting work, recruitment efforts, customer service, payroll and paying invoices. Strong computer skills are essential as a lot of the job functions are paperless and the ideal candidate will have competence in a variety of computers applications including MS Office. Additionally, the candidate must be able to multi-task and handle high stress situations.

Work is performed in a standard office setting.

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) or more years of full-time college level study OR a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field.

OR

Two (2) or moe years of full-time college level study OR an associate's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

One (1) or more years of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

High school diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

One (1) year or more of experience as an Administrative Services Coordinator I with the State of Vermont.

Special Requirements

For some positions experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) may be required.
