We are looking for an Assistant Athletic Trainer to collaborate with other members of Athletic Training Staff in the delivery of Athletic Training Services to CU student-athletes. This position will report directly to Head Athletic Trainer. In this role you must be able to travel and work evenings and weekends. At Creighton, you are part of something big. Responsibilities Additional responsibilities will include Assisting the Director of Athletic Medicine in supervision of intern athletic trainers and student workers Attend practices and games of assigned primary sport(s) (home and away) Administrative oversight and home event/post season coverage of assigned secondary sport(s) Coordinate and maintain medical referrals and records from Athletic Training room visits Maintain good standing with the NATA BOC and NE state licensure through continuing education units work with Athletic Performance Staff to develop programs to aid in the prevention of injury Serve as preceptor for the University of Nebraska at Omaha Athletic Training Education Program under the supervision of the Program Director Qualifications Master's Degree in related field; Must be certified by the National Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Certification, eligible for Nebraska Athletic Trainer License Required Licenses/Certifications Must be certified by the National Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Certification, eligible for Nebraska Athletic Trainer License AAP/EEO Statement Creighton University is committed to providing a safe and non-discriminatory educational and employment environment.
