A&P Mechanic - Fixed Wing

FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY in Kansas

$62,705-$91,455 (Depending on Experience)

Aircraft Maintenance - Fixed Wing is responsible for performing field maintenance on King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 series aircraft as per the duties and responsibilities listed below to the highest degree of competence and safety in compliance with all applicable 14 CFR regulatory requirements as well as company policy and procedures. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will report directly to the assigned Director of Maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Support operations at our Wichita, KS base
  • Maintain King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 aircraft maintenance
  • Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, alterations, troubleshooting and parts replacement.
  • Complete maintenance, Inspections and, paperwork properly and timely.
  • Participate in on-call maintenance rotation.
  • Place inventory orders and assist with core returns.
  • Comply with proper parts tagging procedures.
  • Screens aircraft forms for proper discrepancy and MEL documentation.
  • Communicates aircraft status with the Base Lead Technician.
  • Complete return to service paperwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform pre and post flight inspections, assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on base aircraft. Support other company bases as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Line and heavy or depot level maintenance experience required
  • Turboprop or Beechcraft experience preferred
  • King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 aircraft maintenance experience required
  • Must be able to successfully complete FAA - DOT drug and alcohol testing program
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid State issued Driver's license
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to accommodate day shift of 6AM to 4PM CST, Monday thru Friday OR
  • Ability to accommodate evening shift of 2:00PM to Midnight CST, Monday thru Friday
