The Associate Director, Integrated Marketing and Communications, supports the strategy, planning and execution of key Association initiatives by working across the Concern & Awareness division. This role is responsible for supporting priority initiatives that reach current and new audiences, as well as ensuring integrated marketing and communications of these initiatives to support the Alzheimer's Association brand. For example, this role works on multiple plans to help shape strategy and drive tactical implementation as a key team member for the organization's signature constituent events, including Walk to End Alzheimer's, The Longest Day and Ride to End ALZ.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Serves as part of the integrated marketing and communications team for Community and Development, including constituent events such as Walk to End Alzheimer's, The Longest Day and Ride to End ALZ.
  • Supports the strategy, planning and execution of key community engagement initiatives by working across the Concern and Awareness division and with business partners to support strategic marketing and communications plans.
  • Supports planning and implementation of strategic marketing and communications plans including project planning, key message development, marketing collateral development, tactical execution, and capturing success metrics.
  • Writes clear, engaging mission-focused messaging for a variety of channel applications, including earned media, social media, and direct marketing; and for a range of audiences, including individuals living with Alzheimer's, family caregivers, professional care workers, researchers, and donors. Collaborates, edits and proofreads copy from business partners and other team members.
  • Directs and coordinates the creation of content for constituent events, including marketing materials, advertising campaigns, websites/pages, merchandise, etc.

  • Works closely with the Integrated Marketing and Communications team's leadership to develop and continually evolve planning processes, tools, and templates to drive outcomes; ensure integration, collaboration, and cohesiveness of the various plans while maintaining simplicity and efficiency.



  • Upholds and drives the organization's and the division's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and reducing and heading off health inequities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+ years' experience, preferably in non profit marketing and communications.
  • Experience working in a field position and a national position preferred.



Position Location: US Remote

Full time based on 37.5 hours per week minimum

Position Grade: 508, estimated salary ($85,000-$95,000)
