Medical Receptionist - Customer Service Falls Church, VA MUST: Experience working as a Medical Receptionist Must have 6 plus months of experience as a Medical Receptionist/ Customer Service experience Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must have experience scheduling appointments Must be tech savvy Must be comfortable handling heavy incoming calls Experience handling insurance verifications ENT and/or Surgical experience is highly preferred DUTIES: Registers new patients with complete and accurate demographics according to procedure Verifies patient's insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit Updates patients' charts so that the information is entered correctly Scans documents into the electronic medical record as directed. Completes work daily to compile missing demographic and insurance information for billing purposes Obtain prior authorizations for care Answer phones taking patient demographic information Other duties as assigned *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
