Job Description

Engaging Guest Relations Management

  • Anticipate and respond to guests' needs with enthusiasm, ensuring positive interactions and a welcoming atmosphere at Starbucks. Handle complaints effectively to foster guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Colleague Engagement and Support

  • Create a positive work environment by actively engaging with team members, encouraging collaboration, and promoting a sense of belonging. Conduct uplifting pre-shift meetings and provide ongoing support to enhance team morale.

Vibrant Operational Oversight

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Starbucks menu items and service procedures while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Promote cleanliness and organization in work areas to support an energetic workplace.

Compliance with Hotel Policies

  • Ensure all staff adhere to hotel policies regarding attendance, grooming, and appearance, fostering a professional and respectful environment. Monitor compliance to maintain high standards.

Collaborative Inventory and Supplies Management

  • Conduct inventory checks, establish par levels for supplies, and oversee ordering processes. Ensure storage areas are organized and clean, contributing to a seamless operation and team efficiency.

Customer-Focused Financial Accountability

  • Uphold compliance with Starbucks cashiering and accounting procedures. Manage manual checks, run closing reports, and submit payroll records accurately, always prioritizing exceptional customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

1. Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.

2. Age Requirement

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

3. Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Barista.

4. Certifications

  • Food handling certificate required.
  • Advanced Store Training certification from District Manager.
  • Certified Barista Trainer certification.

5. Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with various drink recipes and beverage service standards, as well as food offerings at Starbucks.
  • Strong fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and legibly.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic.

6. Cost Control Awareness

  • Understanding of food/beverage and labor cost controls.
