Under direct supervision of a Bank or Market Manager, responsible for recommending Associated Bank products to existing customers and prospects. Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying customers' needs comprehensively and matching their needs recommending appropriate deposit, lending, digital and other services.

Work closely with other business line partners to develop relationships and ensure retention of client assets and growth in relationships. Assist in growing loans, deposits, and fee income by acting as a resource across the bank bringing together the right partners, providing convenience to clients, and providing bank wide tailored solutions to clients. Achieve individual/branch team goals and business line referrals in line with Associated Bank's Core Values.

Provide exceptional customer service through efficient and accurate processing of customer transactions and fulfilling service requests. Support the operational integrity of the branch. A colleague in this role may be asked to work in more than one branch location to support a culture of flexibility and mobility to meet the expectations of our branch and customers.

This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act.

This person will also:

  • Recommend bank products to new and existing customers, following the company sales process while accurately following established bank procedures. Banker may be assigned a customer book of business where they are responsible for growth and retention.
  • Identify needs and refer customers to business partners within and across lines of business who can best meet those needs.
  • Requires understanding of sales, products, benefits, account ownership, forms, and procedures.
  • Ensure that new accounts are properly processed, and cross-sell opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Committing to consistently exceeding customer expectations with each client interaction.
  • Grow assets under management by developing new business through proactive sales efforts with both existing clients and new customers. Participates in joint appointments to further develop relationships.

Education

  • High School Diploma. Required

Experience

  • 2-4 years Sales and goal based environment or related. Required
  • 1 year of experience within a Branch Banker role. Required
  • 3-5 years Working in a sales and goals based environment with strong customer service focus. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Other Banker Certification within 6 months. Required
