A Postdoctoral Associate position in functional evaluation of human genetic variation is available in the laboratory of Dr. Roth in the Department of Computational and Systems Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. The position will integrate computational and experimental approaches to infer the functional impact of human missense variants, identify sequence-structure-function relationships, and contribute to clinical variant interpretation and disease risk stratification.

The Roth Lab is seeking a candidate who recently earned a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Genetics or related field. Extensive experience with both experimental and computational functional analysis of human variation is required. The candidate will have the opportunity to receive training relevant to understanding the function and implications of human variation. The salary is commensurate with experience and based on current NIH guidelines.
