About the Role

Join our team as a Warehouse Lead where you'll oversee critical operations in our commodities departments. This leadership role combines operational management, safety oversight, and mission-driven work while supporting The Salvation Army's community programs through effective warehouse management and team development.

Pay Rate: $15/Hour, Full-Time Position


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee staff and production processes in assigned commodities departments following TSA policies
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA Safety Guidelines and TSA Policies in all assigned areas
  • Manage evaluation and packing of commodities, including cleaning, pricing, wrapping, and shipping preparation
  • Monitor and record production goals while maintaining clear communication channels
  • Collaborate with Program Department to support work therapy beneficiaries through training and mentoring
  • Report incidents, inefficiencies, and safety concerns to appropriate supervisors
  • Maintain and enforce proper PPE usage, including safety glasses, gloves, masks, and back guards
  • Create and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Additional duties as assigned


What You'll Need to Succeed
Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for driving TSA vehicles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in warehouse operations preferred
  • Organizational and problem-solving capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong safety awareness


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and handle warehouse materials
  • Physical stamina for ongoing warehouse operations
  • Ability to demonstrate proper safety techniques
