The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $48,800- $67,100 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

This is a 1st shift position with a core shift of 7a-3:30pm-4:30pm, depending on the business need. The core function of the role will be wiring primarily conveyor systems for functionality and wiring test systems.

The equipment that is being built is for multiple industries. They will take the schematics to measure and cut their wire, wire up the machine, pull the wire to the panels, neatly wire up the panel, and then fire up the equipment for testing. Everything that they're doing is going to be with dead wire. These assignments will be provided to them from the management team and they are responsible for working with a "buddy" to complete these tasks. A buddy system is required for safety reasons and they must be with this person at all times while working on a project.

What We are Looking For:

  • 5 years experience machine build
  • 5 years experience reading Schematics (Electrical prints)
  • 5 years experience with electrical assembly and wiring machines
  • 5 years experience panel wiring Troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Basic knowledge of controls wiring
  • NFPA Knowledge and understanding
  • Must be able to work with minimal direction
  • Forklift and scissor lift experience - Company certification will be required
  • Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them
  • Associate's degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred. HS diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to be on their feet up to 8 hours each day. Minimum of 7 hours.
  • Ability to occasionally lift objects up to 100 pounds (such as conveyors).
  • Ability to frequently move and lift objects of up to 50 pounds frequently and for long periods of time. (moving items on test loops, assembly, and installing.)
  • Ability to crawl beneath equipment for assembly or disassembly or maintenance.
  • Ability to use ladders and lifts with proper training.
  • Ability to drive lift trucks.
  • Ability to use power equipment (saws, drills, etc.)
  • Ability to work in temperatures up to -30 degrees Fahrenheit 20-50% of the time with appropriate personal protective ware.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Welding and Fabrication
  • Automation
  • Operating manual Lathes and/or Mills (Bridgeports)
  • Willingness to become QEW Certified
