This is a full-time position on the pharmacy team at UVA Pharmacy. UVA Pharmacy is the only 24/7 community pharmacy open to the public in the Charlottesville area. This position supports the mission of UVA Health to transform the health and inspire hope to all Virginians and beyond by providing excellent community pharmacy services. The position offers competitive
benefits and scheduling, including infrequent weekend and holiday shifts. The Community Pharmacist provides excellent pharmaceutical care and ensures a positive patient experience to a diverse patient population in a dynamic outpatient pharmacy setting. The pharmacist works alongside other skilled pharmacists and technicians to achieve optimal patient therapeutic outcomes.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required Experience: No experience required Licensure: Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Pharmacy License. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing and traveling for prolonged periods. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull < 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals.
