Our client, a funeral home based in Monroe, LA, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to become part of their team. This role involves helping create meaningful remembrance services, celebrating the lives of loved ones, and honoring the memories shared with their families.

Schedule: 8am - 5pm, 10 days on 4 days off

Pay rate: $15 - $16/hr.

Responsibilities:

Daily tasks include answering phones, managing messages, alerting the funeral director of death calls, managing the calendar, and responding to client requests. Assist with administrative details for funeral services, including logging information, creating obituaries, and coordinating with vendors. Help prepare Life Celebration packages for families and assist with the setup and breakdown of wake and funeral services. Ensure the facility is always prepared for potential walk-in clients.

Qualified candidates will have two years of related experience. Other requirements will include Word, Excel, and Photoshop.
