Advantage Resourcing has partnered with a leading commercial construction company to fill a direct hire role for a Site Safety and Health Officer in Slaughter, LA. Pay: $30 - $40/hr. plus Per Diem where applicable

Requirements: The ideal candidate should be First Aid and CPR Certified, have completed a 30-hour OSHA Construction Course, and have 5 or more years of continuous hands-on experience as an SSHO or in other safety-related positions.

This is a direct hire position with a full list of benefits provided once hired by our client.

Job Duties: The Site Safety and Health Officer will be responsible for conducting safety orientations, investigating all accidents and near-misses, conducting daily equipment inspections, enforcing the Contractor's safety program, inspecting the site and personnel's work to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g., not using protective equipment), ensuring the site is hazard-free, and maintaining Accident Prevention Plan Compliance. Additionally, the role requires obtaining, posting, and keeping burn permits.
