The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, founded in 1946, is dedicated to training future veterinarians, providing services to animal owners and veterinarians, and conducting investigations to improve the health of animals as well as people. The college benefits pets and their owners, food-producing animals, and wildlife by offering the highest quality hospital and diagnostic laboratory services. Position Summary |
This position provides customer service to all clients of the Medical Records Department. Primary responsibilities include: attaching documentation to patient records; answering and routing phone calls, emails and faxes in a timely manner; processing records requests, and other duties as assigned. This position will assist the
VTH Business information systems manager in providing first level support for end users of Vetview and Instinct applications such as login issues and basic functionality. |

- Completing transfer of ownership requests thru the electronic medical record system for the small and large animal hospital that involves speaking to the client to confirm rights to ownership, validate documentation provided, and update information in Vetview system.
- Completion of transfers for donating animals to the large animal hospital.
- Serve as back up medical records front desk during times of team absences
- Assist in resolving inaccuracies and duplications in records within Vetview
