About the role

The Flex operator will be responsible for all aspects of Liquid Receiving of Bulk oil, Chemicals and Liquid Corn Syrup. This position will be required to fill in for all positions in ZSP processing if needed.

Your responsibilities

  • Understand the capabilities and operation of multiple CIP Units (Allen-Bradley Work Stations) as they relate to tank and liquid receiving cleaning circuits
  • Ability to work both independently, as well as, with other team members
  • Be able to inspect and sanitize storage tanks and piping connections prior to unloading incoming tankers to ensure sanitary system exists.
  • Unload tanker trucks and inspect the entire receiving system prior to, during, and after unloading to assure proper secure operations of the truck bays and bulk receiving tanks. (Liquid Corn Syrup, Bulk Oil, CIP chemicals).
  • After cleaning, assure all lines and equipment are reconnected and capped, properly identify and tag all tanker trucks as having been cleaned, filling out all cleaning tags and charts according to established procedures. Be knowledgeable of the operation of the nitrogen purging system for the oil tanks.
  • Be knowledgeable of material inventory and account system and have the capability to perform such tasks as completing liquid receipt forms and entering information into SAP.
  • Keep all work areas, including facilities and equipment, clean, safe, and orderly.
  • Perform Sample requests as needed.
  • Participate in pork pancreas receiving
  • Maintain Chemical inventories for satellite chemical stations.
  • Maintain and draw off Toulene recovery area and movement of full and empty drums as necessary
  • Perform and document all required Master Sanitation requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management and notify appropriate personnel of any unusual situations

The experience we're looking for

  • Ability to check information both quickly and accurately, follow work instructions in practical work related settings, apply basic rules of arithmetic, and trouble shoot and problem solve mechanical issues.
  • Bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
